The Consumer Trap

Mark 11:12-21

Big Idea: Real worship isn’t about getting what we want; it’s about giving God what He deserves.

1. If worship becomes a marketplace, we miss the mission (v. 15–16)

• Worship isn’t about convenience; it’s about calling.
• Has comfort replaced purpose?

2. The heart of worship is prayer, not preference. (v. 17)

• True worship is offering our heart to God.

3. Jesus flips tables, not intentions (v. 18–19)

• Comfortable will always push back
• Jesus does not coddle those He loves.
• Let Jesus clean house.
